33 new clients, 182 new colleagues, more than 37 million euros in revenue.

What an amazing year! 525 people joined forces in 2022 to rise to various challenges, making for an even stronger start to the last year before officially coming of age.

After all, we wouldn’t be us if we didn’t outdo ourselves and develop our skills every year – and we wouldn’t be us if we didn’t celebrate that properly.

Cheers to dotSource, to our second family and to a new year filled with exciting projects and wonderful people.

17 Years of dotSource: Our Year 2022

New employees also led to the creation of new teams. From digital strategy consulting and system selection to implementation and management of digital platforms – our experts support companies in various stages of their digital transformation. In line with a long-standing tradition, we want to celebrate the incredible achievements of our 30 (!) teams with the »Accolade of the Month« and look back on twelve successful months.

17 Years of dotSource: Accolade of the Month Is a Tradition

JANUARY

… goes to the Delivery 5 (D5) team, which now has 29 members. Besides project releases for KWS and Röchling Italy, the team implemented the first Salesforce Lightning projects for KAHLA Porzellan and MEVACO.

The second »Accolade of the Month« goes to the D9 team, which celebrated numerous successful launches such as the Würth online shop.

FEBRUARY

… goes to the D17 team, which illustrated last year how beneficial it is when different digital services are coordinated with each other. The team optimised norelem’s SAP Commerce online shop following a successful project audit.

MARCH

… goes to the D13 team, which, in addition to expanding the mobile app service portfolio, celebrated a successful launch for FUJIFILM.

The D1 team also made its mark with not just one, but two launches for Ottobock, the world’s leading prosthetics and orthotics company.

APRIL

… goes to the D3 team, which not only provides excellent support to our long-standing client BayWa, but also acquired a new client in the form of Rohde & Schwarz.

MAY

… goes to the D15 team, which created new digital services for customers through launches for Messe Düsseldorf and Krones.

JUNE

… goes to the D19 team, which, in addition to VERITAS, Krones and Stadtwerke Jena, successfully acquired and supported many clients by providing cloud services.

With the online and offline marketing strategy for TEAG, the D21 team further developed our brand experience and motion design services. But that’s not all: our UX experts also supported myAGRAR in optimising its website.

Last year, the PIM/MDM/DAM team (D11) not only doubled in size, but also in terms of revenue. Successful Stibo Systems and Akeneo launches include client projects such as Lampenwelt, Ottobock, Analytik Jena, St. Benno and CLICKPOOL (Dildoking).

JULY

… goes to the D7 team, which launched VERITAS and was able to expand its expertise in the technical implementation of Adobe Analytics in the Fissler project. In addition, the team celebrated the Adobe Gold Partner status together with D13 and D14.

The D16 team acquired a new MuleSoft client in the form of TEAG, launched Natsana and successfully completed the migration of the SAP Commerce & Order Simulate interface for BHS.

AUGUST

… goes to the D14 team, which increased our visibility regarding multi-product solutions with the implementation of Adobe Experience Manager Entry Solution, allowing us to secure two projects.

SEPTEMBER

… goes to the D12 team. Since we want to continuously develop our skills and work more efficiently, we are extremely delighted that the team was able to hand over the new project controlling to our project managers in autumn.

A total of 50 projects were managed by the digital marketing team (D20). These included TEAG, Würth MODYF and Messe Erfurt. Moreover, our tracking experts were able to expand their consulting and solution expertise and announced a new partnership with Piwik PRO.

On top of that, the D4 team was able to secure two major client projects, which we are particularly looking forward to in 2023.

OCTOBER

… goes to the D6 team, which celebrated a successful launch for Natsana and was able to further expand its collaboration with Villeroy & Boch as a multi-cloud client.

The D8 team provided outstanding support in the two client projects Ottobock and Pöppelmann.

NOVEMBER

… goes to the CRM team, which doubled its revenue compared to the previous year and prepared the formation of the new marketing automation team very well.

The D2 team relaunched the website of Stadtwerke Jena based on the CMS Magnolia and set up more than 40 online shops via the hagebau platform.

DECEMBER

… goes to the agile coaches from the D18 team, who were able to further expand the service portfolio last year and, as a result, achieved a revenue of 1 million euros for the first time.

17 Years of dotSource: Not Without Front and Back Office

Those who paid close attention may have noticed that we have not yet mentioned all of our 30 teams. A big thank you also goes to our non-delivery teams – without them, dotSource would not be able to function. After all, they are the reason we can celebrate so many project successes. They make sure that everything runs smoothly at our five offices and that the entire dotSource family feels completely at ease.

Special thanks to Marketing, Sales and Telesales for creating high-quality content, securing 100 opportunities and strengthening our relationships with clients and partners.

Last year, our HR team once again took care of our well-being and professional development with cool challenges, a warm onboarding process and numerous training opportunities. Accounting, Legal and Controlling optimised processes in order to be able to handle the continued growth of our diverse dotSource family in the best possible way.

Our internal IT team, which is always there to help colleagues with technical challenges, also automated processes and – just like our facility and construction team – ensures that we can work as efficiently as possible at all our offices.

Last but not least, we would like to thank our administration, which made it possible for us to meet in person and get to know each other. Thank you for a great company offsite and a Christmas party that brought this amazing year to a perfect close!
