The e-commerce software Magento was released in 2008 as an open source platform and has since then developed into a prime example of open source software with an active developer community that constantly innovates and provides mutual support. With the Enterprise edition, it is also possible to carry out projects for large, internationally operating brands and trading companies. Since Magento was acquired by eBay Enterprise, however, the pace of development has decreased noticeably. As a Magento partner, we continue to follow the company’s journey with interest.
